We were delighted to be asked again to do some maintenance work on this beautiful, veteran landmark Beech tree in Nairn. The tree had lost a major limb last winter due to the winds and left a gap in the crown. We removed the dead wood from the crown and lifted lower branches from the roadside and house.

More stumps this week. Remember to ask what machine is being used to do your potential job. When asking for quotes ask how deep they plan to go. With the machines we use, it’s not just surface ground, it’s completely removed underground too, as you can see by the pictures. Remember the stump can be meters under the ground. If not removed properly it will grow back and you will be unable to built or landscape on top of it. A £1500 machine with a mower engine doesn’t have the capacity to do bigger stumps and is not comparable to the finished results.

Another stump removal job and lawn repair completed earlier in the week. This is how we leave the job, we don’t leave a mess or a problem for you to deal with as you can see by the truck load of chip, there’s a lot of wood chip to remove ! Looking forward to seeing the lawn in a few weeks when the grass comes through.

Today we removed this Fir tree that had grown too close to the buildings. The only safe way to do it was to lift it out!

Felling some dead roadside Elm trees in Evanton with the tractor and winch. Using the tracker and winch is the only way to do it safety.
