Having learnt and enjoyed traditional techniques back in the day when studying fashion, Ellie has re-developed more contemporary techniques after training with milliners in Southern France, The Cotswolds and London. Using both traditional and modern millinery techniques Ellie creates beautifully hand crafted hats and headpieces. Ellie will creat a bespoke, handmade piece just for you, perfect for

I’ll have a few short lengths of tweeds with me tomorrow at HaverHub. Most are Linton Tweeds which are unusual weaves by the company that makes some fabrics for Chanel and Dior. There’ll be a few other odds and sods but don’t think I’ll have much more room.

As promised a few (not very good) pictures of some ‘dress length’ fabrics I will be taking to the Destash sale at Haverhub this Saturday. These are mainly jersey type fabrics in different weights, most are 150cms wide and approx. 3mts length. Most will be £10 per piece.
I will only be able to take cash or bank transfer.

After sewing since the year dot, making bridal and special occasion outfits, a complete obsession with buying fabrics for my ‘stash’🙈and a major house downsize 6 years ago, in a perfect world I’d have a place like the photo below😂.
So I’m putting on my big girls knickers and starting to offload some of my stash…….think I need therapy though😨😅. As you know my social media efforts are not good but will attempt keeping you up to date with what I’m parting with - I live in hope🤞.
To start with I’m taking some dress fabrics to the Destash sale at HaverHub this Saturday 10th May. I’ll post some gen in the next couple of days.

PS. I’m still making headpieces but need room to organise and find everything😉
