Neath Port Talbot Community Transport (NPTCT) is a not-for-profit organisation who specialise in providing accessible affordable transport to voluntary, community groups and individuals based within Neath Port Talbot and surrounding areas. We currently have 11 vehicles in our fleet ranging from 8 to 16 passenger seats. Of these 9 vehicles are wheelchair accessible via a rear tail lift. All vehicle
s are registered under section 19 permits and are insured, safety checked and serviced in accordance with legislative requirements. Our group hire service is only made possible due to the dedication of our numerous volunteer drivers who are coordinated by the Operations Manager. All volunteer drivers are trained in First Aid and assessed to an enhanced industry wide driving and passenger safety standard called MiDAS. If they wish groups may use their own driver but the driver must provide their driving license and complete a driving assessment with one of our qualified assessors, prior to hire. Our Qualified Driver Assessor Trainers (DAT’s) are also available to hire for MiDAS training for individuals or groups outside of our organisation (fees apply), please contact us for further information.
