Adam Henderson’s latest offering “Runaway” gives off big time indie rock energy. It is fast paced and fluid throughout, with drums that drive the beat forward and a really fun, melodic bassline – which actually kicks the song off – accompanied by some warm acoustic guitar to tickle the ears.

Using Adam’s first release “If time gave in” as a yard stick, this new track is levels above in terms of the songwriting, composition and instrumentation. One thing that has always followed Adam throughout all of his releases though, is a fantastic singing voice and it’s no different here with this new one. The vocals are excellent and compliment the overall vibe of the song really well.

This track would not sound out of place in a playlist with bands and artists such as Gerry Cinnameon, Dominic Fike, Kings of Leon, Inhaler, Catfish and the bottlemen etc. It is an easily digestible, nice on the ears, commonplace indie track and it certainly doesn’t hide its roots. In fact, it shows them off from the very first note.

“Runaway” is available to stream right now on all major streaming platforms.
