I’ve spent the last four nights calling this beautiful cabin home whilst attending the Hays Travel Cruise Conference! ❤️

From the luxurious Cunarder bed and private balcony to the thoughtful little touches, including welcome bubbly and gorgeous Penhaligon’s toiletries, Cunard certainly knows how to make you feel special! 🛳️

🛳️ 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆! 😂

I was all set to come on here and do a little live update from onboard Cunard’s beautiful Queen Anne… but I got slightly distracted! 🤣

I stumbled across a fascinating talk by Clarendon Fine Art about the incredible work of Sir Quentin Blake, famous for illustrating Roald Dahl’s books, and I was absolutely captivated! 🎨📚

And do you know what? That’s one of the wonderful things about cruising. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱!

Anyway, back to what I was going to tell you! 😂

We’ve just finished our final conference session after 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 at the Hays Travel Cruise Conference! 🛳️

What an incredible experience it’s been!

We’ve heard from so many amazing cruise companies, covering everything from 𝗹𝘂𝘅𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀.

I’ve learnt so much, discovered some exciting new opportunities and gained even more knowledge to bring back to my customers.

Because that’s what it’s all about for me, 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗢𝗨. ❤️

Cruising certainly isn’t one size fits all, and there really is something out there for everyone.

A huge thank you to 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲, 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 for organising such a fantastic conference, and of course to 𝗖𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱 for giving us the opportunity to experience the beautiful Queen Anne.

We’ve still got our final drinks reception and dinner to enjoy this evening, so the celebrations aren’t quite over yet! 🥂

I’m swapping my desk for the decks of the beautiful Cunard Queen Anne as I attend the Hays Travel Cruise Conference! ⚓️

I’ll be away from my desk from Friday 9th until Tuesday 13th October, learning, networking and discovering even more about the wonderful world of cruising! 🌍

You may recognise this photo from my previous Cunard experience onboard 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐… but this Friday I’ll be swapping QM2 for 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞! 👑🚢

And there’s been some VERY interesting news about her this week…

𝐂𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝’𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐏&𝐎 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟗! 😮

Queen Anne only entered service in 2024 and is Cunard’s newest ship, but following her 2028/29 World Voyage, she’ll undergo an extensive transformation, be renamed and begin a whole new chapter with P&O Cruises. 🚢

And the timing couldn’t be better for me…

𝐈’𝐦 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘! ⚓️🥂

I’ll be sailing to Rotterdam as part of the 𝐇𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, giving me the perfect opportunity to explore the ship and experience Queen Anne for myself.
