I’ve just booked the gorgeous 5* Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort in Portugal for a lovely family of four and I’m so excited for them. It’s such a great choice for families: loads of space, six heated pools, children’s areas with waterslides and a brilliant kids’ club, so the little ones (and not‑so‑little ones) are never bored.
They are going to love the modern, comfy family rooms with balconies, the spa and indoor pool for a bit of ‘me time’, and the fact they don’t have to think about cooking, with plenty of restaurants and snack options on site. Alvor’s beautiful beach is close by for sandy days, and there’s a handy shuttle into the resort when they want to explore.

Still not booked your summer holiday yet? You’re absolutely not alone! I’ve had lots of people tell me that they’re ’waiting’ this year….. there are some great offers on at the moment and still plenty of free child places around to be had… however if you’re waiting for some monumental ‘return to the 90’s prices’ type offers that’s just not going to happen sadly!
