Great half term, especially making the most of the glorious weather ☀️
A real mixed one for us, life isn't always about touring, it's about all the other adventures too...
We've had birthdays, a celebration event (I even made a balloon arch) and a cheeky getaway in a glamping pod because sometimes we just can't be bothered to drag out the caravan for one night but still want to get away!

Do you do anything else when you really can't be bothered to use the van?

We only used a fan and actually it wasn't too bad in the shade, but helpful cooking tips on the cheap is what I'm after...?

Some sites are like Marmite, we recently visited Billing Aquadrome and those who always went as a kid would have fond (but naive) memories right!
These days as an adult it's no different, just different facilities (no fair anymore 😢) but through a different lens. We had a fab time despite the slight chaos and the activities for the kids were great, so much so we're going again next week!

Have you been to a site where you have the opposite experience of the general consensus?

Reminiscing on some of last years trips, it always makes us feel good that we've visited lots of beautiful places.

The one thing I look at when choosing a site is what has it got to entertain the kids and will there be other kids there to become caravans friends.

Do you and/or your kids make caravan friends?

When you first start out, your learn a lot but I've noticed that even 3 years in we're still new and learning every day...
