Hello and welcome , I‘m Sharon and I work from my home office in the market town of Nuneaton, Warwickshire; most famous for George Eliot!! I am no literary legend but I‘m a travel agent who has been in the industry since 1989. I became part of the Designer Travel team in December 2018 but prior to that have spent over 30 years working for independent travel agents on the high street in Nuneaton, C

oventry and Hinckley. I have been very fortunate to visit many fantastic destinations through my work, making many friends and industry contacts along the way. Picking a favourite destination is difficult as destinations are different in their own way but my top picks would be Canada, Greece and Italy. I love cruising too and generally try and squeeze in a city break every year. Morning all

Well what a few days I have just had in beautiful Crete with the Designer Travel Dream Team, I have been before and will definitely be back 🇬🇷☀️✈️

I always hear the comments like ' oh you off on another jolly'
' work trip.. yeah right'
'I wish I had your job'

and yes I can totally see from the outside looking in this is what it can look like however
these trips especially this particular annual conference are much more

🏨I had the opportunity to experience 3 beautiful hotels
GRECOTEL HOTELS & RESORTS ...The Grecotel Lux me white, The Grecotel Creta Palace and the Grecotel Caramel all situated in beautiful Rethymnon

🤝I have built stronger relationships with wonderful suppliers along with learning about their new products and destinations

💡I have shared ideas and knowledge with my Designer Travel colleagues and they have reciprocated which helps you my client as I can give you the best advice when planning your holidays

Remember although I am self employed and run my own little business I am part of the bigger Dream Team of Designer Travel giving you my clients access to the fountain of knowledge of nearly 200 fantastic travel experts!!

Even after 35 years in travel 'everyday is a school day'

I genuinely love what I do, and opportunities like this remind me why.

So yes... there were a few drinks, some fantastic food, great experiences, beautiful sunsets and plenty of fun along the way, but I came home with a head full of ideas, lots of new friends, and more enthusiasm for helping you create amazing memories.

Good Morning!

Early start this morning but there is a reason as this time tomorrow (subject to no delays) I will be in the air on my way to Designer Travel conference in Crete!

I will be in the office all day finishing off admin and enquiries and making sure everyone is ready for there upcoming trips.
