Easdale Breaks comes to an end!

After 5 and a half years we are no longer letting number 65, instead undertaking the much more exciting (and relaxing?) duty of living there!

Thanks to all our friends, supporters and guests for their involvement since 2019 - we’re still there for a coffee whenever you’re in the island. But then you have to go home again ☺️

Opening Day

Well what can I say....today was bloody EPIC!! I'm currently a bit of an emotional wreck ....totally knackered but so damm proud of our wee team and what we have achieved! I can't even find the words to say how grateful I am to everyone who popped in today and showed us so much love for our new space. Special shout outs to our lovely friend Catherine who travelled from the central belt just for our opening day and to my dad who also came up for the grand opening! To friends who dropped off cards and flowers and everyone who messaged such lovely words of encouragement 💚 I also want to thank everyone who has got us to this point today.(I will do a more detailed post soon as my bed is calling ) Our fab landlords who have allowed us into this beautiful space! Amazing workmen who have gone above and beyond to get us open in time. Fantastic local suppliers providing brilliant products and especially to my team Amy, Rachel and Mike who were just amazing!

**** OPENING TOMORROW 4TH April****

Well let's just say this last week has been a tough one! We're opening as planned but please excuse the bits that aren't quite finished! Our workmen have pulled out all the stops to get us ready but I ran out of time with the painting ( I did have to bake!!). We have also been battling illness within the team which has meant staff training hasn't quite gone to plan and have also had some last minute staffing issues so we won't be serving our waffles this weekend....sorry!

We open at 10am with lots of delicious bakes and coffee! Please be gentle while we find our feet 😁 we can't wait to welcome you to our new space
