Advertising my Otter tours & Photo workshops for this coming Winter, this year I aim to create more winter bookings as Autumn & Winter is the best time to see Otters and other wildlife as Skye being quieter than the summer moths, if you can please share to anyone who you think maybe interested, different packages available from 1 day to 3 days for either watching Otters to the more detailed Otter photography workshops for all levels, I operate in a sustainable and responsible manner, taking care of my clients needs along with the welfare of the Otters & Wildlife we encounter.
As part of the countryside code I always comminate with the local landowners and keep the highest respect to the natural environment and others who work in the same area!

After weeks of Illness I am back to seeing the Otters I know so well, hopefully will be tracking them when I can and get some new photos when the time is right, It might take some weeks for a certain female Otter to trust my presence again so little by little I will gain her trust at her pace!

PLEASE HELP -Calling All Friends, Families and Contacts! I am bringing attention to a new threat to our local part of Skye and beyond, Telecom Mast installations are being planned to spread out across our stunning and sensitive landscapes! Wildlife such as Golden Eagles, Harriers and lots more will be at further risk from these useless towering monsters, We Need Your HELP to sign and put in an Objection to help protect local and wider populations of these birds.
It has sadly come to the point where I will name and shame anyone who is involved with helping, approving or financing, taking money to ease or aid the application proposed for out local area in Skye, what world do we live in if we push natural history to the side for the sake of modern industrialisation, our greed for material toxic waste is a dead end so wake up, I know I sound angry but this is important to our future generations. if you want to keep seeing Golden Eagles over the hills of Skye then PLEASE SUPPORT US today and STOP the Telcom MASTS and WIND TURBINES !

Skyehigh Wildlife Photography Tuition

I am a wildlife photographer and teach wildlife photography out in the field on The Isle of Skye. I use my local knowledge and expert field craft to help get you in the best places to photograph Iconic Scottish wildlife. Red and Roe Deer, Otter, Pine Marten, Seals, Golden eagle and White tailed sea eagle as well as numerous other species and sea birds.

I can give help and advice regarding technical aspects of a range of cameras and equipment. Whether you are a beginner or a serious photographer I can cater for all levels and needs. If you have a particular image you wish to capture I can help you achieve this. I can pick up and drop off locally in South Skye in my 4 by 4 vehicle. Drinks and snacks are available for half day tour but a home made lunch of beef bridies with soup and bread and home baking will be provided for a full day package. All tours based on minimum of 2 people. Discounts for 3 or more people and maximum of 6. Cancellation fee if tour is cancelled within 5 days of tour. All tours are private with just you and your friends or guests .
