Passengers are advised that the 64 may be running up to 20 mins late due to a wide load going through Llangollen.

Police have closed the road and have advised our driver that it may take up to 20 mins to get through.

‼️ Morda Road has been closed from the lights in the direction out of Oswestry.
Buses however, will remain to be able to come into Oswestry.

The following diversions have now been put into place 👉

X76 - At the lights on Church Street turn left and follow the road to the lights by Lidl. Turning right then over the bridge and turn right before the Highwayman Pub down the Industrial Estate and turning right opposite Pentons into Weston Lane and proceeding up the road into Morda.

72/79A/79B - Coming into Oswestry is fine. Passengers are advised to get the X76 back to reduce traffic flow along Weston Lane.

Diversion – The 72/79A/79B will turn right at the Church Street lights and follow the road up to Trefonen and return on Route.

****TUESDAY 19TH MAY****
Brook Street in Welshpool has now reopened.

Therefore, we have instructed drivers to resume operating the X76 and 76 services into Welshpool via the Raven Roundabout and Mount Street (top of the High Street) as normal.

We have also instructed drivers who operate the 81 service to resume serving the Bus Stop (outside the Chip Shop) on the High Street in Welshpool as normal.

👉 Buses operating between Llanrhaeadr/Llanfyllin and Welshpool will be unable to serve the High Street in Welshpool (outside Andrew’s Fish Bar).

Passengers are therefore advised to wait for and catch the 76 service from the Bus Station in Welshpool (at Stand 😎.

Buses operating between Welshpool and Llanrhaeadr/Llanfyllin will still be able to serve the High Street in Welshpool (at the bus stop adjacent to Mount Close).

👉 During the afternoon, the school coach will be unable to reach the Bus Station in Welshpool.

⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE - Monday 27th April ⚠️

The road between Morda, Sweeney Mountain Junction and Weston Lane is due to close for resurfacing works TODAY 🚧

Work is scheduled to take place on the following days 👉

27th April – Road Closure for Stud Removal
1st & 5th May – Road Closure for Surface Dressing
18th - 19th May – Road Closure for Surface Seal
20th – 21st May – Road Closure White Lining

The road will be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 16:00 on the days mentioned above.

Therefore, bus services X76 & 72 will be unable to serve this bus stop on the days mentioned above due to the road closure.

Buses will instead be diverting to Morda from Llynclys via Weston Lane.

Passengers who wish to travel to Oswestry are therefore advised to catch any of the services mentioned above at the bus shelter located at the top of Weston Lane.

We have instructed our drivers to drop passengers returning from Oswestry at the top of Weston Lane 🚏🚌

⚠️ Attention Montgomery travellers: Princes Street is currently closed due to roadworks 🚧, so the following services are taking new routes 👉

Service X76 will detour via Chirbury Road, stopping at the Clive House Bus Stop near the War Memorial Garden, then turning around by the Fire Station before resuming its journey.

Service 81 will also turn at the War Memorial Garden in both directions, pausing at the Clive House Bus Stop on Chirbury Road before continuing.

Roadworks are scheduled to last three weeks, passengers are advised to plan accordingly 🚎

‼️ UPDATE ‼️

The road through Ruyton is now open and buses will return to their normal route with immediate effect 🚎

⚠️ SERVICE 576 🚧

Due to engineering difficulties on the current works at Church Street, Ruyton XI Towns, the road is now closed, 24 hours a day until Friday 10th April.

During this time, Service 576 will stop at The Cross in Ruyton, then return to the A5 and turn left at Shottaton Junction, continuing to the Admiral Duncan in Baschurch.

Due to the extra time needed for the diversion, the 10:05 and 17:05 Shrewsbury-Baschurch services will not run. We are sorry for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause.

Unfortunately, we are continuing to experience delays on the 576 service due to the works that are currently taking place in Ruyton-XI-Towns.

As a result, we’re currently unable to operate the following trips.
