Tanat Valley Coaches Tanat Valley Coaches & Motors is a family run company in the beautiful Tanat Valley on the Shropshire border The fleet amounts to approximately 36 vehicles.

The company has a wide variety of vehicles from mini-buses, midi-coaches, single and double decker buses, coaches and executive coaches. Tanat Valley operate 18 local public services, many of which are contracted by Powys County Council and Shropshire County Council. The local councils and schools also contract 8 school buses, which carry approximately 1000 students every school day. In the summer

, three commercial express services are operated, they are: X1 Aberystwyth and X4 Aberystwyth. Tanat Valley undertake private coach hire for a wide variety of customers as well as it's own programme of over 40 day trips a year, and holiday tours in the UK. ‼️Leaton Hall Junction B5067 To Station House Junction, Bomere Heath.

Affected Service: 576 🚌
The road closure will take place from Tuesday 1st September to Friday 11th September, between 9:30 am and 4 pm.

The following diversion will be in place 👉

From Bomere Heath:

The bus will carry on to the bridge and turn right. Go under the bridge and follow the road down to the Dunnsheath T Junction. It will then turn left and return en route.

From Shrewsbury:

The bus will go down Berwick Road as normal and turn right at Dunnsheath junction. It will then follow the road under the bridge, turn left for Bomere Heath, and return en route.

You’ll be responsible for safely transporting children to and from school each morning and afternoon 🚸

No prior experience is necessary, as we provide full training and guidance. However, candidates must hold a current, clean, and valid UK driving licence

✅ A dedicated school bus chaperone will support you by supervising children, encouraging positive behaviour, and keeping everyone safe throughout the journey.

⚠ ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Whittington Roundabout in Oswestry will be closed from 1st September to 19th October.

The following diversions are in place for the 449 school run during these roadworks.

👉 From Whittington:
Buses will follow the normal route up to Inglis Road; past Park Hall Farm, then onto the Orthopaedic Hospital. Buses will then proceed along Gobowen Road, into town, and to the Marches School.


👉From Marches School:
Buses will follow the normal route to the bridge, then continue down Gobowen Road to the Orthopaedic Hospital. At the hospital, buses will continue into North Drive, then on to Park Hall Farm, into Inglis Road, and return to the normal route.

❗Any pupils who usually catch the bus on Burma Road need to go to the bus stop on Inglis Road for the morning pick-up and will be dropped off at the Inglis Road bus stop on the return journey.
