Introducing Joe and Monty, the ultimate ‘guidl creators’.

guidl started life as a conversation between our two guidl co-founders in a dreary doctor’s office. Joe and Monty (who both specialise in psychiatry) were unpacking new evidence that getting out into green space and exploring the world around you is good for mental wellbeing. Their thoughts turned to how we turn tech from being a barrier to curiosity into a bridge. Soon, the idea for guidl was born.

Exciting news! guidl has a packed social calendar this summer and what better way to kick it off than by joining 50,000 history enthusiasts at the Chalke Valley History Festival from 24th to 30th June.

We’re so thrilled to be there that we’re even going one step further and sponsoring a talk by our very own guidl creator Tom Holland and friends on "The Ultimate Bodyguard: Viking, Spartan or Samurai" on the Saturday. Prepare to be wowed!

The festival chimes with so much of what gets us as a guidl team excited: a love of discovery, curiosity and celebration of learning, and we’ll be sharing all the news as it happens, including behind the scenes from our guidl tent, where we'll be playing guidl games, be in conversation with our guidl creators, and have live demos of the mobile app and creator platform on repeat to get visitors excited about all things guidl.
