Following the latest easing of Government Restrictions we are pleased to announce that we will be re-opening The Marconi Inn from Wednesday 19th May.
To maximize our use we will be operating different hours than those prior to the pandemic and whilst this is subject to change we intend to operate based on the following
Monday & Tuesday :- Closed
Weds - Sunday :- Open 12pm - 3pm then 6pm-10pm
In order to remain compliant there are a few rules that need following to allow us to welcome you back.
These include:-
Entry
When entering the building all visitors must wear a face mask and sanitize their hands. They should then sit at a table to await table service. They should NOT go to the bar to be seated. No more than 6 persons are permitted at any table. When seated masks may be removed
Track & Trace :-
Whilst you will not need an App to record this, we will require every person who visits the premises to enter into our register their name, telephone number, email address and time of arrival. These details will be kept securely and destroyed when the permitted time has elapsed.
Drink orders:-
When you require a drink please inform our staff member who will take your order at the table and bring your drinks to you. If you are using the beer garden please ring 02920 703609 and our staff member will take your order and bring the drink to you
Payment:-
We encourage payment by contactless method, such as smartphone, debit card, smartwatch etc but we also accept cash payments. Please remain seated and our staff member will either bring the card machine to your table or take your cash and return your change to your table.
Please remain seated :-
You are not permitted to walk around the premises or change from table to table. If you need to pay a visit to the toilets you must put your mask back on and keep it on until you return to your table. The Pool Table and Darts Board & slot machines will not be in operation until restrictions are lifted further.
Juke Box:-
We are not permitted to play loud music on the Juke Box as this will encourage singing which which in turn can spread the risk of infection by aerosol. This does not mean that it won't be in operation but it will be considered as "background music"
Leaving the premises:-
When leaving all customers should put their mask on again and leave in an orderly manner.
We are sorry that there are so many rules in place in what should be an enjoyable relaxed atmosphere but we really do need to comply with the strict guidelines as laid down by the Welsh Government so we ask that you co-operate with us to avoid any potential Enforcement Notice until the restrictions are lifted further.
We look forward to seeing you from Wednesday
