GRANTS UPDATE

HIGHER TIER STEWARDSHIP
More information was shared at the Defra webinar last week. Higher Tier Stewardship is aimed at the most important environmental sites including SSSIs where management might need to be locally adapted. The scheme will include 132 land management actions and 151 capital items including new options for reducing the risk of flooding and new permissive access. Pre-application advice from Natural England is by invitation only and is focused on those whose Higher Tier agreements expire in 2025, those who have woodland management plans and those who already have an approved environmental plan. The scheme will open next summer and there will be a rolling application window with monthly start dates. Applications will be on-line using the Rural Payments service.

☀️We are excited to introduce our new Kid’s menu starting on February 1st! Every child will receive a pack of colouring pencils to go with their menu to design and make their own whilst their meal is getting prepped and cooked!

☀️We have kept a few favourites but added a few new dishes that we hope they will love!

☀️We have also decided to offer 2 portion sizes as some have bigger appetites than others - 2 or 3 courses available!

Join the Choir

Following popular demand, the Greystoke Church Carol Service pop up choir is to become permanent fixture! Led by Isabella Wilson, former Royal Marines musician, the choir will sing at the 11am traditional service on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
