I’m so excited to share……our rural reset just got even better 🌿
Elevate your wild spa experience with our sauna!

A beautiful wood fired sauna which blends into the surrounding countryside with a vista of the May Glen.

Benefit from a Contrast therapy ice bath and outside shower too!

Look out for our new Gaia Wild Rasul Treatment, an awakening salt scrub followed with a mud cocoon whilst resting in the sauna….. your skin will feel super soft ✨

💫Our sauna will be open for bookings very soon and available to use from May.
Why not book your stay and include the sauna experience at a later date!

We were so excited to find this naturally formed ‘frozen heart’ when out walking. This is Valentine’s Day after all!

Nature is full of reminders for what we may need in this moment. For me this brought a little reminder to live with an open heart, for the love that flows through our heart purifies not only our own spirit, but the love you share with others.

As promised here is the information of our ‘Tea and Therapy’ event with Made for Life Organics.

This is a retreat day to support anyone living with cancer. Whether you have just started your cancer journey or have been through diagnosis and treatment, this day is for you 🥰

A day of warm-hearted wellness, good conversation, nutrition information, self-care, positivity, touch therapy and of course tea!

This is a small gathering for 10 people, tickets are limited.

I’m only too happy to answer any questions, please get in touch.

Today is World Cancer Day. So many of us have been touched personally by cancer, you may be familiar with my story.....
25 years ago my mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and sadly passed 8 months after diagnosis. She is my inspiration in all I do ❤️

As you know, it is myself who gives the lovely treatments at Maycroft. When you are here you are welcomed with an open heart and any treatment you choose will be adapted to meet your own needs and that includes a cancer diagnosis. I believe access to wellbeing is not exclusive, it's inclusive.

My background as a therapist goes back 30 years! With extensive qualifications and experience in adaptive oncology massage, mindfulness and integrative wellness practices. As Lead Complementary Therapist in an NHS specialist palliative care service for 13 years, which started as a volunteer therapist, 10 years after mum passed in the same hospice. I wanted to give something back and yet it gave to me the healing I needed through touch and presence with people who needed it the most. I am so very grateful.

My partnership with Made for Life Organics brings treatments especially for someone with a cancer diagnosis. Beautiful tender touch massage using their organic oils and balms.

I would also like to share a Tea and Therapy event we are holding Sunday 11th of May with Amanda Winwood, the founder and director of Made for Life Organics. This is for anyone with a cancer diagnosis and is sure to be a very special day. More information coming soon!

🌿 Welcome to Maycroft, the Wild Scottish Spa 🌿

Launch day is finally here! We're so excited to introduce you to Maycroft, the Wild Scottish Spa.

The name Maycroft has been developed based on the location, family history and traditional use of our land. The Springs of May is the original name of the Fairy Pools, that guests use as our wild spa plunge pool. We felt May is linked to Spring, new beginnings and pastures new. It is also a family name passed through generations from this very area. While Croft is authentic to the land, but also sounds comfortable, cosy and caring. We hope you like Maycroft as our new name.

Over the next few days, we'll share more about what we offer, but for now, take a moment to explore our stunning new website. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Our Autumn offer has a 10% discount on all Wellness Treatments and a hot-tub preheat service. The spring water hot tub will be warming for your arrival.

Please book your dates then send an email stating Autumn Spa with your booking reference and we will organise the rest.

This is for midweek October and November dates, Sunday to Thursday. The price is our usual nightly cost. A 10% discount on spa treatments booked during your stay and a pre light service for the wood fired hot tub. Logs to heat the tub are an additional cost. The spa treatment is for over 18 year olds only.
