✈️ JUST BOOKED! Florida here they come!

Another family getting one step closer to an exciting trip across the pond!

This booking was all about finding the right flights for a family heading to Florida to attend a very special event. They only needed flights, but that doesn't mean they miss out on the support, advice and personal service that comes with booking through me.

🚢 JUST BOOKED! A first solo cruise and some winter sunshine to look forward to!

I'm really pleased to have helped this client get their first solo cruise booked, and what an exciting adventure they have coming up!

Within just a week of booking, they'll be boarding P&O Cruises Ventura for a lovely cruise exploring Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands. A perfect opportunity to escape the winter weather, discover some beautiful destinations and enjoy a little time away.

One of the things I've particularly enjoyed about arranging this booking has been helping my client feel confident, comfortable and excited about travelling solo.

Taking your first cruise on your own can bring plenty of questions, and being able to share my own experiences has been a lovely part of the process. Having cruised with P&O several times myself, as well as being fortunate enough to be selected for an educational cruise where I learned directly from the P&O team, I could offer some first-hand insight into what to expect.

It's about more than simply booking a cabin. It's making sure you feel happy with your choices and know what to expect before you step on board.

One of the things I really enjoy about this job is that there is always something new to learn.

I recently spent some time with one of my suppliers at a training event, and it was a great opportunity to find out more about what they offer, hear about new developments and get an insight into what's coming next.

It's also lovely to meet the people behind the brand, put faces to names and build relationships with the teams I work alongside when arranging holidays for my clients.

I genuinely believe that knowing your suppliers and understanding their products makes a difference. It's not just about finding a holiday, it's about being able to share knowledge, offer advice and help match people with the right experience.

A really enjoyable and worthwhile day, with plenty of new information to take away and put into practice.

Now I just need to decide which of their amazing hotels to visit first!

Where could your next city break take you? And could you make it part of a bigger adventure?

Christmas market enquiries have been keeping me busy lately, and I'm also helping people plan city breaks and river cruises, including stays before or after their cruise.

If you're thinking about getting away, here are a few ideas from my latest carousel.

New York at Christmas was genuinely magical when I visited. There's something special about experiencing the city at that time of year, and it's an experience I'd love more people to have.

Florence was another favourite of mine, but for completely different reasons. If you're drawn to beautiful Italian cities, art, architecture and a slower wander through somewhere full of character, it offers a very different kind of escape.

And if you're looking for something a little different, why not consider a river cruise? You can explore multiple destinations in one trip, with the added bonus of your accommodation travelling with you.

The best choice really depends on what you're looking for. Is it the atmosphere of a Christmas market, the excitement of a big city, time to soak up the culture somewhere new, or a cruise that lets you see more along the way?
