So lovely to receive some photos from my clients who have been on a 3 week luxury private tour around beautiful Sri-Lanka to celebrate a milestone wedding Anniversary.

Staying in luxury boutique accommodation throughout, they started their tour in Galle, then travelled to Udawalawe Elephant Sanctuary, Yala National Park, Ella including a trip on the scenic train, Kandy and Gal Oya National Park. And finally, a lovely few days of R&R on the beautiful beaches of the East Coast.

I can't wait to catch up with them on Friday to hear all about their Sri-Lankan Adventure. It's already making me want to go back again! Such a beautiful country, lovely people and delicious food.😋

Adults only holiday in the Caribbean?

Choosing the right Sandals resort makes a bigger difference than most people think. It’s not really about “which one looks nicest” — it’s about the vibe you want when you wake up each day, how much you want to do (or not do!), and what kind of island suits you.

Use the carousel as your quick guide, but if you asked me where I’d go personally? I’d probably pick Sandals Grenada.

This mum is taking her 2 girls to Oman for a fabulous 1/2 term beach holiday in February. When the weather is cold and dreary in the UK, Oman is perfect destination for a winter sun beach escape.

Wow! Such an amazing and tough 15k hike yesterday along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset in preparation for our trip to Peru in just 3 weeks to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with GAdventures.

This is a bucket-list trip I’ve wanted to do since I was in my early 20’s and can’t believe I’m finally going to do it! One of the world’s best known hikes, we will get to experience a combination of mountains capes, cloud forests, and jungles as well as archaeological and cultural treasures.

Holidays are about so much more than seeing the sights – they’re also about the places you stay, the people you meet and the experiences you have along the way. I’m really looking forward to experiencing the Peruvian cultures and customs, meeting the locals, those in our group and eating in out-of-the-way restaurants which are all part of the experience on an adventure tour. The journey is every bit as important as the stops you make along the way. Such an adventure!

We are also proudly supporting the mental health charity Mind Dorset. Negative mental health will have affected most people in one way or another, whether it's themselves, their families or friends. Supporting this charity will help them give vital support. 🎗💕

I know it might feel early, but I’m already looking at summer 2027 holidays to get ahead of the places people start talking about once flights and the best hotels are gone.

I spend time looking at travel trends, quieter corners, and emerging destinations, so you don’t have to lose an evening to 38 tabs and conflicting reviews. So if somewhere looks like it might be popular in 2027, I'd like to share it with you.

Two interesting destinations for Summer 2027:

Con Dao, Vietnam – for me, this is one for travellers who want a calmer, more nature-led Vietnam. Beautiful beaches, a proper sense of escape, and the kind of place where the hotel you pick really matters because that becomes your base for the whole vibe of the trip. Ideal if you’re thinking “slow mornings, good food, boat trips, a bit of wildlife”, rather than a whistle-stop itinerary.

Syros, Greece – if you love the Cyclades but want something a bit more under-the-radar, Syros has real character. Lovely architecture, great dining, and an easy mix of town evenings and beach days. It suits couples and friends who want Greece, but not the most obvious version of it.

Today I spent the day onboard Fred. Olsen's Beautiful ship Borealis before it departed for the Norwegian Fjords and I was really impressed.

The adult-only ship is stylish, spacious and comfortable, with elegant public areas, restaurants and has only 702 spacious cabins.

On board Borealis you’ll find you’re never overcrowded. There is always ample room in which to indulge yourself in the stylish dining venues, enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple and fantastic entertainment at the bars, lounges and theatres, and while away the hours by the all-season pool which has a retractable roof.

I’ve just booked a ski holiday to Banff in the Canadian Rockies… and yes, I’m very jealous!

This group of experienced skiers booked with me last year for Austria, and they’ve already rebooked for Banff in January 2027.

They’ll be staying in a central hotel right in the heart of this buzzing mountain town. Think bustling little shops, amazing scenery, and some brilliant après bars when the ski boots come off.

And it’s not all about the slopes either. Banff is packed with off-slope fun too — hot springs, ice-climbing, snowy walks, and that crisp mountain air that makes everything feel like a film.

There's also the option to extend your stay in Canada and add a few days sightseeing in Vancouver.
