Self-catering group accommodation in the birthplace of Lawrence of Arabia in North Wales Snowdonia, We are in our own grounds adjoining woodlands and fields.

Snowdon Lodge is perfectly situated close to both the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia and the beautiful sandy beaches and coves of the Llyn Peninsula. Yet only 2 mins walk to the pubs and shops of Tremadog & Porthmadog. We welcome all types of groups from those who want to just chill out for a few days, or those who want to participate in the widest choice of activities available. The Lodge is

perfect for families and friends. Whether it is trekking up Mt. Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales, climbing on the nearby Tremadog Rocks, exploring the rocky coves of Borth-Y-Gest, or lazing on the beach at Black Rock Sands, everything is close, whether you are walking, driving or using public transport.

Are you a dog owner or someone looking after dogs?
We all want to keep our dogs safe but would YOU know what to do if:
* Your dog collapses on the floor, or
* Your dog gets stabbed by a tree branch and starts to bleed heavily, or
* Your dog is having a seizure, or
* Your dog suddenly chokes, or
* Your dog gets bitten by an adder?
Sadly, these are not fantasy scenarios, they are real things that do happen! We all hope that they won't happen to us but it's always best to be prepared.
If YOU don’t want to feel powerless in such an emergency situation, please come and join us on our 1 day Canine First Aid Course in Tremadog. No previous knowledge is needed.
Under the guidance of our renowned canine expert Rachel Bean RVN MCFBA you will learn:
• How to stem a bleeding by applying a pressure bandage
• Practical bandaging on real dogs – paws, head and ears
• Identify the signs of poisoning
• To understand the emergency of a gastric torsion (twisted gut)
• Resuscitation (CPR)
• How to deal with choking
• What to do if your dog is having a seizure
When: Wednesday, 18 June 2025

Cost: £95 per person (includes refreshments, biscuits and a hearty home-made lunch)
