1. Hill-walking - the Lakes are home to all 214 ‘Wainwright’ fells (listed by writer Alfred Wainwright)
No trip to the lakes is complete without a summit or two! 🥾🗻

2. SUP at Ullswater - penned as England’s most beautiful lake. Not a paddle boarder? You can still explore the waters on a boat tour on the historic Steamers. Boat 🚤

3. Hill Top - the former home on Beatrix Potter - you’ll see furniture photos and paintings by Potter and more 📚🐇

4. The Lakes Distillery - a top notch distillery producing gin, whisky and vodka 🥃

5. Honister Slate Mine - the last working slate mine in England. Tour the mines or scale the side of a mountain this placed has a range of activities! 🧗⛏️

6. The Drunken Duck Inn - a gorgeous pub, dining room and hotel with good food and a great view of the hills 🍻🛌

7. Scafell Pike - the highest point in England standing at 979m. It’s fun but also a pretty chunky undertaking so make sure to prepare properly! ⛰️ 🥾
