Life has been FULL. ON. recently, so only just posting our Cyprus trip from May! I couldn’t leave a wedding + family holiday combo in the camera roll forever.

We stayed at Cavo Maris and we loved it! It’s an aesthetically pleasing and modern hotel, great food options and the friendliest staff. We’re hoping to go back soon.

PSA while I’m here: even though I’m clearly rubbish at posting, I am still very much booking holidays! If you’re planning a trip, come to me before you book online. More often than not, I can beat what you’d pay booking it yourself, plus you get an actual person to sort things out if anything goes wrong. That’s just one of the perks of using an agent.

One of the things people don’t always see when they book through a travel agent is what happens after they’ve booked.

This week, an airline changed the schedule for a client’s city break and moved them onto a much earlier flight.

Because it was a short trip, I knew it would make a difference to the time they’d have, so I got in touch with the airline to see what could be done.

After a bit of back and forth, I managed to get them moved onto a much better flight with only a small change to their original plans.

Could they have sorted it themselves? Of course.

But this is one of the reasons many people choose to use a travel agent. When things change, there’s one person there who knows you to deal with it for you and no waiting in a queue for someone in a call centre to answer.

A little update from my travel business ✈️

I’m now working with One Travel Club, which means I have access to even more suppliers, destinations and options when planning holidays for my clients.
