Great news from and for Garden Cottage in Richmond, North Yorkshire! Last week we received our annual inspection from our Visit England inspector who has awarded our lovely holiday home a 5 * rating with a Gold award. The cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and 1 or 2 dogs are welcome at no extra cost. The enclosed garden is delightful for humans and dogs and the cottage also has private, off street parking. Mr. Yorke's Walled Garden, Cravengate, Richmond, DL10 4RE. Open afternoon this Sunday 9th June from 1pm - 5.30pm. Enjoy a stroll around the garden and the music of Trouvere. Judi Allison will be painting in the garden and will also be offering examples of her work for sale. Just the Job will be selling plants to take home for your garden. Tea and homemade cakes on sale. Very nice to know our guests have enjoyed their stay at Garden Cottage here in Richmond, North Yorkshire. Couple, who came from Essex and stayed for 10 days with their two very handsome dogs left this comment, "A 3rd stay at Garden Cottage - lovely as usual. Visits to the Dales and Moors and Whitby - excellent meals at the Bay Horse at Ravensworth and the Morro Lounge in Richmond. Will be back." Another couple wrote, "Another lovely stay at Garden Cottage, once again the weather was kind to us so we could enjoy the lovely walks around Richmond, the castle and the river. The cottage was perfect for our needs, so much so we stayed an extra couple of nights. Thank you once again to Marcia - a great host as ever. We will be back."
