West Leas Farm holiday cottages and small caravan site Holiday Self catering relaxing breaks West Leas Farm lies 6 miles to the west of Ripon on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

In the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a small Dales farm where even the cows are freindly and have names! Wonderful views across open Countryside yet only a mile from either the village of Kirkby Malzeard or Galphay
We have self catering cottages in a converted barn and also a 5 van Caravan site with the Caravan Club.

Stile maintenance by the guys this morning. Strimming the long grass making these hidden gems. Easier to find for guests wanting to enjoy a circular walk and perhaps a doggie swim in our little freshwater spring pond

I keep wondering about trying it myself but not been brave enough yet !

Both stiles have doggie friendly guillotine style pull up doggie flaps so they can go underneath

We offer holiday with your horse
Grass paddock with water
Visible from cottage rear gardens. So you can keep an eye on your horse. Up quiet farm lane. As safe as we can guarantee parking for horse box. And feed barrier which acts as undercover place to dry rugs tack etc
We do ask you to pooh pick and we provide wheelbarrow
£15 a night per horse. Short breaks £70 a week
Two one bedroomed cottages. Two two bedroomed. Dogs welcome too. Some riders bring a husband! The 3 ladies who regularily stay pop the dogs in the horse boxes. Which can be in a shed. So pretty safe and cool
Or a car can be in a shed. So out of the sunshine
