The Grecotel LUXME White is luxurious from the word go – think all-white Ibiza beach club chic, all just footsteps from the sand-and-shingle shoreline that meets the Cretan Sea. There are 22 swimming spots dotted across the hotel, some of which are reserved for specific room types. The main pool, however, is the place to be during the day – it’s at the heart of the grounds and is edged by smart sun terraces and a team of loungers and parasols.

If you can tear yourself away from your sun lounger, you can get involved in games of ping pong, or get involved with aqua aerobics and yoga classes. There’s also a kids’ club and a programme of activities for teens, as well as an open-air cinema for children.
