Happy Flightie Friday ✈️ We've just caught up with Expert Cat after her beach holiday in Noosa, Australia last week. Check out her top tips:

💬What was the highlight of your trip?

The whole trip was a highlight BUT if I had to choose, it would be kayaking out at Double Island Point with a group of very playful dolphins (including some calves) on my Epic Ocean Adventure tour! 🚣‍♀️ They put on quite the show jumping out the water and playing with bits of seaweed - it was a wildlife encounter I'll never forget 🐬

💡 Any tips for first-time travellers to this destination?

If you're into laid-back coastal vibes and a food enthusiast, I'd recommend staying in Peregian Beach. This hidden gem is just an 18-minute bus from bustling Noosa, but you'll find swathes of sand to yourself, soulful cafes & restaurants serving up the culinary riches of the Sunshine Coast, and boutique shops - a real haven after a busy day exploring 🏖️

🗒️ What would you do next time?

I'd time my stay to coincide with the best whale-spotting opportunities (Jun-Nov). You can hike Emu Mountain or take on the more challenging Mount Coolum (to work off the aforementioned food), and at the top be rewarded with 360-degree views and if you're lucky, see humpback whales breaching (July) or pods coming close to shore with their calves (Oct) 🐋

Happy Flightie Friday! We've just caught up with Expert Lizzie after her Norway cruise with P&O last month. Here she shares her top tips:

💬 What was the highlight of your trip?

✨ Honestly, there were so many – but sailing into Olden at sunrise was pure magic. The stillness, the mist, and the mountains reflected perfectly in the water made it feel like a dream. 🎶 Another standout was the sail-away moment from Olden when locals lined the shores, waving flags and playing music. It was incredibly moving – a core memory. 💖

💡 Any tips for first-time travellers to this destination?

🧥 Layer, layer, layer. The weather in the fjords is wildly unpredictable — one minute it’s sunny, the next you’re caught in sideways rain.
🧲 Pack magnetic hooks – surprisingly handy in cruise cabins!
🥤 Bring reusable cups and bottles – great for excursions and onboard.
✨ Don’t over-plan. Leave time for spontaneous moments – some of the best memories are unplanned.
🌅 Get up early. Some of the most breathtaking scenery happens before breakfast.

🔄 What would you do next time?

Next time, we’d bring our daughter 👨‍👩‍👧. We were really impressed by how much there was for kids to do on board. From kids' clubs to family friendly entertainment, it’s such a great option for children of all ages. We’re even thinking of inviting the in-laws too — it’s a brilliant choice for multi-generational families. 🎉 There’s truly something for everyone, whether you want to relax, explore, or be entertained from morning to night.

🌊✈️ Flightie Friday is back, and this time we're setting sail with our Expert Michelle! Just back from a trip with Royal Caribbean 🛳️, here she reveals her holiday highlights:

💬 What was the highlight of your trip?

Trying out the FlowRider surf simulator 🏄‍♀️. I wasn’t able to stand up and almost lost my swim bottoms 👙😅, but it was great fun! The shows onboard were also AMAZING 🎭, especially the water show AQUA80Too 💦. The choreography was fantastic 💃, the engineering that goes into that pool incredible 🛠️, and the high divers so skilled 🤿✨.

💡 Any tips for first-time travellers to this destination?

Get acquainted with the app before you go 📲. It's a great way to see what's happening onboard and when 🗓️. You’re able to book everything — shore excursions 🌴, drinks packages 🍹, dinner reservations 🍽️, and most importantly, the shows 🎟️.

My second piece of advice is not to try and fit everything in! 🧘‍♀️ There is SO much to see and do, but if you try to do it all, you'll be exhausted 😴.

🔄 What would you do next time?

The same things all over again 🔁! Try and fit in more of the quizzes ❓, quirky onboard activities like karaoke 🎤, laser tag 🔫, and definitely catch AQUA80Too a second time 🎉.
