IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT from Robin & Di : Friday 17th March 2017.
After 10 years of owning and running Lambert Hill Cottage as a holiday let, we have now sold it and would like to thank all our holiday makers who have stayed with us. It has been a great experience for us and the end of an era but not our love for Ruswarp and Whitby! We also would like to thank all those who follow the website and have expressed interest in our various social media postings. The new owner has asked us to add this interim message, while the existing website is being transferred across to them.
‘The Cottage has been sold to Mrs Jane Sweeney who does not wish to take any bookings for the time being as she intends living at the Cottage and having relatives to stay. Mrs Sweeney may reconsider the situation during the 2018 season, particularly if she is away from the Cottage for any length of time. If so, her son Walter and daughter in law Nuala will manage the bookings’

We hope that all the Sweeney family enjoy Lambert Hill Cottage and Ruswarp as much as we did and still do.
