We have a contract with the Marine Conservation Society to carry out a baseline seagrass survey in Kintyre. It will be approximately 6 days of work in August or September, in Kintyre. The position is paid (amount tbc).
Candidates will need:
-Snorkel experience in Scotland
-Snorkel equipment including 7mm wetsuit (mandatory. 5mm won't let you stay in the water long enough)
-A snorkel or scuba qualification such as Advanced Open Water (no scuba involved but insurance companies are awkward about snorkeling)
-20 logged dives or snorkels
The work will involve mapping and surveying the health of 4 seagrass beds in Kintyre.
