Lovely venue at the Post Mill centre, South Normanton , Saturday night for Emma and Jacks Double birthday party . A Very busy night with loads of guests family and fiends turning out for this lovely couple . A big mixture in music taste as Emma wanted loads of R&B , Stormzy, and dance music . Jacks taste completely different as he was into meat loaf , oasis ect . Quite a bit of the old 70s/80s was played too fir the older crowd. After the food was served ( Chip Butties ) the official happy birthday and the speeches were out of the way then the dancing started. Really good crowd and a cracking night . Congratulations to Emma and Jack on celebrating both birthdays .

Saturday night once again and we are at clay cross social centre for the annual Rykneld swimming club presentation night. The venue was packed to the rafters as this is a very big and popular swimming club. Early start for us at 6 pm the presentation began taking about two hours to present all the trophy’s . After the presentation a raffle was presented and then a lovely hog roast was dished up which was delicious. As soon as the food was out the way the dancing started and the requests started to come in . A Very busy and successful evening . Many thanks to the organisers and to everyone who danced the night away .

Well 2019 went out with a bang as we were asked to provide the entertainment once again at the Gate Inn at Tansley . It was a late start for us as the guests were entertained while they were eating and drinking with two different acoustic singers in the bar area Beanie and joe Briddon sang there hearts out while Steve Gent provided all different types of magic around the tables . 9-30 came and then it was left to us to get the guests into the party mood and the crowd we had in were really up for it . A full house once again at this very popular pub/restaurant the atmosphere was electric and at last few minutes of 2019 the room was full to the brim , We had told all the guests /customers that we would be doing a countdown then the Big Ben chimes and straight into Auld Lang’s syne to see the new decade the new year of 2020 in. A massive Thank you from all the staff and myself at the Gate Inn at Tansley . Happy new year to you all from all of us .

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our Bride and Grooms, all our Birthday boys and girls , all our customers who have attended all of our corporate dinner dances , customers who come back to us over and over again a massive Thank you and would like to wish each and everyone of you a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year. Looking forward to being of service in 2020 taking our business into our 49th year and still going strong .

The last of the Christmas corporate dinner dances at the Gate Inn Tansley has come to an end . We have had a full house every night with it being sold out. Thank you to all our customers who have wined, dined and danced the night away at the Gate . Don’t forget we are back New Year’s Eve and it’s open to everyone so pop in and celebrate the New Year’s Eve celebrations with us .

Tonight Working along side Chris Measham lovely singer rat pack and take that doing two 40 minute spots while staff serve Christmas dinner . Cracking night and some very nice feedback from customers

Our 3rd Christmas party dinner corporate event at the Gate inn Tansley Friday the 13th . Tonight’s party was sold out and we had a full house . As the guests arrived and started making their way to the tables our evening acoustic singer Mr Thomas Proctor entertained the guests for the first hour and a half . As soon as the evening meal was over the party and music began . Loads of requests through out the night got to give a mention to a big party from St Joseph’s school . A crowd from Whitworth hospital. Saint Giles school. All these people made this a very busy night and the dance floor was full all evening. Thank you to all who attended last night at the Gate inn Tansley.

Our last wedding of 2019 and we were asked to provide the entertainment at one our regular venues Chesterfields Theatre the Winding wheel . After getting married in the Auditorium The wedding reception was then transferred into the stunning ballroom and had been decorated through out as the theme was Christmas with it falling on 1st December . Our lovely Bride and groom the new Mr and Mrs Baines Charlotte and Peter had asked for the official first dance to be done straight after the cake cutting ceremony . We asked all of their Freinds and family to join in the celebration dance half way through and the response was massive with the dance floor full to bursting . As well as the disco there was a photo booth . Candy carts and food was provided around 8-30 . This was a fantastic evening and we would just like to thank all of Charlotte and Peters freinds and family for making this a night to remember . Congratulations and All the best to the Bride and Groom Charlotte and Peter the new Mr and Mrs Baines
