We will visit the Cave of the Apocalypse, where St John received the Book of Revelation, celebrate daily Mass, and spend time in prayer and reflection at some of the island’s most sacred sites.

Set in the beauty of the Aegean, this pilgrimage offers space to step back, reflect on Scripture, and encounter God in a quieter, more intentional way.

Throwback to 2 sundays ago with Fr Nick King SJ celebrating Mass at the Tomb of St Thomas in Chennai at St Thomas Cathedral Basilica and National Shrine of St Thomas, Santhome, Chennai. This church built by the british in 1896 over a church built by portuguese in 1523. St Thomas is said to have been killed near here in AD 72. His skull is in Monastery of St John in Patmos where we have seen it !!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! ❤️

It is easy on the Feast Day of Saint Valentine to get lost in the commercialisation of the day but did you know the true story of his life? St. Valentine was martyred for his faith and love for others. He defied Emperor Claudius II, who had banned marriages for young men, believing that single soldiers made better warriors. Valentine, a priest, secretly performed marriages for couples in love, continuing to spread the message of God’s love. Ultimately, he gave his life for his unwavering belief in the sanctity of love and marriage.

Saint Valentine is the patron saint of lovers, beekeepers, and epileptics, and his feast day reminds us of the power of selfless love. So, no matter where you are, know that you are deeply loved by God, whose love for you is greater than any love we know.

Yesterday, we celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes 💙🙏

St. Bernadette was born in 1844 in Lourdes, France, into a poor family. At 14 years old, Bernadette began to experience visions of Our Lady. Despite people doubting her, Bernadette remained steadfast in her faith. A key message Our Lady told Bernadette was, “Penance, penance, penance.” 🙏

Our Lady then instructed Bernadette to dig at the grotto, where a spring of water appeared and began to flow. She also told Bernadette to go and tell the parish priest to build a chapel at the grotto. The priest asked for a sign, and later, Our Lady told Bernadette, “I am the Immaculate Conception.”

Once the visions stopped, Bernadette joined the Sisters of Charity in Nevers, France, at the age of 22. She died in 1879 from tuberculosis aged just 35. Saint Bernadette’s body remains incorrupt and rests in a glass shrine in the chapel of the convent of Saint-Gildard in Nevers.
