Honestly, no matter how hard I try to improve the caravan, someone always seems to find something to pick fault with 😂 I know it’s not perfect, but I am trying!

While we were down there I replaced the bed under the sofa, got a new TV, had the bathroom floor done and bought a bigger air fryer. I also bought some different wallpaper adhesive and my oldest went round and stuck back down everywhere that needed doing, but sadly it still hasn’t stuck 🤦‍♀️

I’m now stuck on what else I can do apart from paint it, and I really don’t like the idea of that!

Then since we’ve come home, somehow the dining table leg has fallen off 😂 Hopefully it just needs screwing back on!

I know there’s still loads that could be done, but I’m doing what I can when I can. It’s a caravan, not the bloody Ritz 😂😂

Good news!! We finally have the bathroom floor done. After being let down by someone else on the 15th that didn't turn up. Lino will be going down Friday when everything's dry.

Breakage & Damage Policy

Due to a number of items being damaged or broken this year, I am introducing a refundable damage deposit.

I completely understand that accidents can happen, and I ask that guests please let me know as soon as possible if anything is damaged or broken. Where possible, I would appreciate guests trying to replace the item themselves.

If you are unable to replace the item, but you have been honest and let me know about the damage, the reasonable cost of the replacement will be deducted from your deposit, with the remaining balance returned to you.

However, if guests leave without reporting any damage or breakages, the full deposit will be retained.

Thank you for your honesty and understanding — I really appreciate guests taking care of the property and letting me know if anything goes wrong.

Refund Policy

Having had a few guests request or receive refunds this year, I’ve had to make the decision to change my refund policy.

Refunds will only be considered when there is genuinely no other reasonable solution.

If something is broken or not working correctly through no fault of the current guest, I will always do my best to offer a suitable solution. Where a solution involves an additional cost, I will cover or refund the reasonable cost of that solution.

If a suitable solution is offered but declined by the guest, no further refund will be provided.

My priority is always to resolve any issues fairly and ensure guests have a comfortable stay, while also keeping the policy consistent and fair to everyone.

Just a little note to let you know that some work will be carried out on the bathroom floor on 15th August.

We’d like to reassure you that this work will not affect any of our bookings or guests’ stays, and everything will continue as normal.
