The very last windows or stained glass I made before my illnesses got much worse. I managed from 12yrs with severe pain endometriosis and 14 with regular UTI that eventually became kidney infection in 2022 I was diagnosed with cuti. Chronic uti. If you know me I share my experience on my own personal page of legislative failures leading to chronic disease and worsening disability when there were always way to mitigate this for me and others. I hope to post some of the pictures from learning different conservation techniques while on a placement after winning the scholarship from The worshipful Company of Glaziers in 2014. They were kind enough to let me do reduced hours when I got sick to be able to achieve this in a couple of month instead of the nine in different studios. Which they were kind enough to say to be proud of this development as that was point of award and I achieved that. No one wants to loose there autonomy or health but it happens. I have been in treatment for cuti with tertiary care for nearly four years and beginning to control well the CUTI (chronic UTI) which NHS secondary care told me I'd be unlikely to ever recover. I have a started to. That is high dose long term antibiotics everyday for years I was predicted at 3-5 and have responded well now with appropriate pain relief. I do still have inoperable endometriosis causing fused organs in different difficult places so I will never be same as younger. But maybe there hope🤞

Interesting documentary about Great East Window, York Minister the largest single expanse of medieval stained glass in Britain and the master-piece of Coventry glazier John Thornton. It was commissioned in 1405 and completed by 1408 with York Minster's Chapter paying £56 for the work, according to information gleaned from 17th-century copies of the medieval contract. shedding light on all aspects of stained glass, designs and construction, including the glass itself

I love geometry and glass! Both are hugely in-bedded in eastern cultures...Glass originating possibly in Syria, Mesopotamia or Ancient Egypt...(no one is 100%)
How beautiful is this....Hope I'm creative in my 90's & and what master crafts will be surviving then, in real life?

Wild Engravng.....Drying day :))
In March I was lucky enough to be awarded a grant from Atlas to attend a week long masterclass, learning glass engraving outside in the wilderness....held by a Northland's and taught by the lovely Heather Gillisepie....This gave me an amazing experience, great new skills, oppertuinty to develop & prepare an exhibiton of glass and prints....
