KD Music Media

KD Music Media KD Music Media champions independent artists by connecting them with audiences and venues through live shows & tours.

We create spaces where music is felt, not just heard - building real connections through community and collaboration. Live music has played an important part in my life from the moment I was born thanks to my uncle's band The Formers. In November 2024, after working in the corporate sector for 30 years and just over year since my Autism diagnosis, and after decades of struggling with my mental hea

lth, I gave up the financial security of my salaried job to set up KD Music Media, through which both of For The Love Of Appalachia's sponsored tours were booked & managed. I cashed in my pension policy, and spend the next twelve month focusing on establishing KD Music Media & For The Love Of Appalachia, the non-profit raising funds for the sponsored tours. I had the opportunity to work with some amazing artists over the last year, both through FTLOA & KDMM. There have been challenges along the way as well, but it issues was treated as a learning experience instead of a problem. Going forward For The Love Of Appalachia will continue to support Appalachian artists and our transatlantic music community, but helping emerging artists find sponsors to enable them to come to the UK tours with their travel and accommodation costs covered through sponsors. This change will enable a much larger number of these incredible talented artists to tour the UK. Our partnership with Steve & his team at Southern Roots will add incredible value to the support we can offer our artists. We don't look at follower numbers when we decide on artists we want to work with. We look for artists that make us feel a deep connection to their music, and to them themselves. It doesn't matter if they have 20 followers or 20,000. We want the people attending one of our events to feel what we feel. For us as well as feeling passionately about our artists, we want everyone attending one of our events to feel welcomed into our growing community.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

I’m excited to welcome Michelle Eidschun to the For the Love of Appalachia team!

Michelle is a Kentucky-based nonprofit leader, music advocate, and creative entrepreneur dedicated to preserving and promoting Appalachian culture through music and community.

Before transitioning into nonprofit and creative work, Michelle spent the majority of her adult life in the restaurant industry, where she developed a reputation for operational leadership, customer experience, and building community-centered spaces. She later launched her own photography business, further expanding her creative skill set and eye for storytelling.

Since 2017, Michelle has focused her work on mission-driven initiatives that combine music, healing, and cultural connection. She is the co-founder and president of Resilient Knights, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports veterans through peer connection, music, and the arts. Through its work at The Train Station event center, she has helped create a platform for Appalachian artists while fostering a sense of belonging for veterans and the broader community.

Michelle is also the founder of Renegade Artist Management, where she works closely with emerging artists to develop identity, harmony-driven sound, and long-term career strategy rooted in Appalachian and outlaw country traditions.

Her work is guided by a deep belief in the power of music to connect people across cultures and experiences. In joining the team at For the Love of Appalachia, Michelle brings a unique combination of grassroots venue experience, artist development, and nonprofit leadership to support cultural exchange between Appalachian and UK musicians.

I met Michelle several times during my adventures in Kentucky last year, and we connected instantly.

Having Michelle on board will be such benefit to the artists we work with, and we are already working on a tour for November featuring three amazing Kentucky artists!

STAFFORD - Are you ready?

This Friday, singer/songwriter Matt Woods will be at The Dog House Pub in Stafford as part of his Spring 2026 UK tour.

Matt is a songwriter from Knoxville, Tennessee, known for his honest and heartfelt blend of Americana, classic country, and roots rock. A product of Appalachia, Matt’s East Tennessee roots shine through in every line of his songs, whether he’s performing solo or with his band, Matt Woods and the Natural Disasters. His music is steeped in classic country and blues, yet infused with the energy of rock’n’roll, creating a sound that’s both timeless and fresh.

With critically acclaimed albums like With Love From Brushy Mountain and Natural Disasters, Matt has toured extensively across the US and Europe, sharing stages with artists such as Chris Knight, Zac Brown, CAKE, The White Buffalo, and many more. His live shows are a high-energy mix of roots, rock, and Americana, always aiming to “share some truth and get along.” Whether you call it Americana, folk rock, or country, Matt Woods delivers music that’s honest, heartfelt, and deeply connected to his Appalachian heritage.

“Brushy Mountain is as complete of a country album as you will find, with excellent songwriting throughout, a great sound that is country at heart, but with sprouts of rock & roll that endow the project with spice and originality...Matt Woods is no fluke, no one trick pony. Not even close. He’s a force of songwriting nature who can match his stories with inspired performances.” SavingCountryMusic.com

“Every track on Matt Woods’ disc is pretty much a perfect country song.” Country Music People Magazine
