We are 3 days away from Christmas 2025 coming to Stanley - and what better time than to announce our fantastic line-up!
There is entertainment scheduled thought the event, so be sure to stick around, from street theatre to choir; there is something for all ages throughout the day.
🎭 Comedy Singing Crackers 🎭 - Brought to you by The Bread & Butter Theatre Company and TheForge NorthEast
Roaming the Market Place, from 3pm, be sure to look out for the Comedy Singing Crackers!
🎭 Oversized Dancing Elves 🎭- Brought to you by The Bread & Butter Theatre Company and TheForge NorthEast
Roaming the Market Place, from 4.20pm until 4.50pm, be sure to keep an eye out for the Oversized Dancing Elves!
🎤 Song for Stanley 🎤 - Brought to you by New Writing North in partnership with Karbon Homes, made up of Stanley residents & students.
Brining together a variety of ages, and community members of Stanley, be sure to pop down to the Stage Area to hear the ‘Song for Stanley’ with additional carols and more! Join us at the stage area at 5pm for this great addition.
🎄 CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHT SWITCH ON 🎄
Join us, and a special guest, at 5.25pm ahead of our Christmas Tree Light Switch On at 5.30pm! 🎄
🎤 Greenland Community Primary School Choir 🎤
Joining us again for 2025, and taking to the stage is Greenland Community Primary School Choir, bringing festive songs to the stage following the Christmas Tree Light Switch On - performance starting at 5.45pm.
🎶 Amelia 🎶
Local singer Amelia will be joining us for some festive songs, and we cannot wait to welcome her to the stage at 6.20pm!

As we start to wrap up the evening, and hopefully not from the cold, we have the Comedy Singing Crackers taking to the market place once again from 7pm, be sure to look out for them.
🎺 Craghead Colliery Band 🎺
Whilst the Comedy Singing Crackers explore the Market Place, we have Craghead Colliery Band performing on Stage from 7pm until 8pm, bringing festive music to close our evening, always drawing in an audience, we cannot wait to welcome them back!
