Celebrity spotting time on the Macc, Robbie Cummins (canal boat diaries)is currently heading to Whaley Bridge on his nb Naughty Lass. Also if you have seen the sign for a cafe at Bridge 19 it's run by Charlie Lawson, 'so it is' who was Jim Mcdonald in Corrie.

Come and join us for the Fitting Out supper. Berkenhoff are the artist for the evening, and have come highly recommended. We will be having a light buffet, with food being served from 7.30pm.

North Cheshire Cruising Club are holding four flower arranging workshops between March and May. Would you like to make an arrangement that makes the friends and family go WOW!, then come along to one of the workshops. David Mason – NAFAS Area Demonstrator will be showing you how to arrange your flowers for that outstanding display.

Dates are : Saturday 29 March, Saturday 12 April, Saturday 26 April and Saturday 10 May. Time – 2pm to 4pm Cost : £10 per session. Refreshments will be available.

I know everyone is tightening their belts these days but please, IF you are able to, have a read of my link and show some support of the fundraising event!

Having served in the RN for a number of years the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is such an important charity that really makes a difference to peoples lives!

I have today (at the very last minute) signed up to do the AJ Bell Manchester half marathon on 18th May....training only started today, so typically me leaving training till the last minute!

Please if you are able, no amount is too small, make a donation or share the page...and I'll keep you updated!

North Cheshire Cruising Club's annual wreath making event is taking place in November with tuition from David Mason. There are two dates this year - Tuesday 26 November or Wednesday 27 November

The cost is £30 and includes the wire ring, wire and spruce. You just bring the decorations for your wreath, like ribbon, baubles, dried flowers or fruit etc. These will make excellent front door wreaths or as an early Christmas gift for a friend or relative. The event is great fun.

If you would like to attend the event, please let Sheila know by calling 01663 765731. Start time is 7pm on each day. There is only 20 places available, and they go quickly, so if you are interested, please let Sheila know as soon as possible.
