I didn't want to do another Jet2 Review video so I've tried to edit this video as the start to our Mallorca Diaries, where Fiona and I make our way from our home airport (Glasgow) to Palm De Mallorca in the Spanish Beleric islands.

Along the diverted route due to holiday road works, we try out a brand new parking product at Glasgow Airport (Mid Stay Car Park) and make the ten minute walk to Terminal-2 where Jet2 have their dedicated check-in area. We then head to the main terminal to pass through security, have breakfast and finally board our flight.

To date, I've never posted a bad hotel/resort review on YouTube so I guess there is a first time for everything.

I cannot recommend this hotel!
If you're looking to book a hotel in Inverness: I would recommend looking somewhere else.
If you're looking to book your wedding in Inverness, I would think twice if you're considering the Glen Mhor.

From an appalling booking process via an off-shore team in South Africa, to cost cutting measures by the hotel owners that will leave you wondering if they have just slapped lipstick on a Pig. And when you give the hotel genuine feedback: they aren't interested.

In my opinion - The Glen Mhor hotel in Inverness provides terrible value for money and as a result, I would avoid if at all possible.

Update on Saturday 15th August 2026:
This video is liver just over 24 hours and finally Mathew & Tiia received an email from The Glen Mhor offering them a refund for the Wedding Suite they failed to deliver and lied about at the same time. Still zero recognition of the appalling booking process or why the hotel changed their wedding menu. So, it only took the hotel 12 days to respond to their complaint and didn't even comment on their failing. It's my opinion that The Glen Mhor don't just over-charge and under deliver but complexly fail to deliver.

In this quick mid-week video, I wanted to do a five-minute tour of the Sunninghill Hotel in Elgin, which is the county capital of Moray, in the Scottish Highlands.

In part one of our Highland Adventure, Fiona & I drive the 220 (ish) miles from our home to Elgin, the main county town in Moray, and also the town where our son Mathew and his very soon-to-be wife (Tiia) live.

We took the decision to take the Tesla, adding the challenge of charging which we decided to do first at one of the four Tesla superchargers in Aviemore.

2026 has been locked down!

Originally Fiona and I had plans for 2026 and a couple of months back, they started fall apart. However: what has Inverness, Miami Beach, The Scarlet Lady, Key West, Bimini Beach and Deerfield Beach all got in common? Yes, they're in the 2026 plan. A video update will follow in a month or so.
