HOTEL HIGHLIGHT - Seth Hotel Punta Prima
I have just got back from staying here with family and had just the best time. The flight to Menorca is approximately 2 hours and with the hotel only being about 20 minutes from the airport, it's a perfect destination for families with small children.
We had twin rooms and a family room. The twin rooms are perfect for a couple but a little tight on room with a travel cot. The family room had one large room with a big double bed and a sofa bed with a bathroom with bath and overhead shower and a twin room with a shower room.
We stayed on a half hoard plus basis. The food was great and there was always plenty of it.
There were a couple of swimming pools and a children's pool at the hotel and a children's splash park and another adult pool a couple of mins walk from the hotel. This is where we spent most of our days. There are children's clubs but we didn't use them.
Punta Prima is only a small town with a few shops and restaurants but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel which we used to get to Mahon. The bus fare was just under 2 euros person. A taxi to Mahon was approx 17 euros. There is also a lovely little land train that takes you on an hour's train ride which the children in our party enjoyed. The beach is only a few mins walk from the hotel but there is a slight hill back to the hotel.
If you have young children who love being in the pool or on the beach and don't need lots going on to keep them entertained, then this hotel could be perfect for you.
