We’ve had a such a lovely time in Cardiff over the past few days - we’ve visited , been on more fairground rides than you can shake a stick at in Cardiff Bay, eaten ice cream on Barry Island seafront and enjoyed lots of lovely food at some great restaurants topped off with a great walk around . The girls getting to spend some quality time with their grandparents is what our visit was all about 🥰 and the best part……the sun actually shone ☀️

They have grown and developed into two beautiful, strong-willed, independent and truly loving little girls who complete our family and keep us laughing...

The first weekend in FOREVER that we have nothing to do. No travel, no birthday parties (they are usually one a week at the moment), no tickets booked for an attraction etc so this morning we decided to go for a walk (remember those boring things that we had to do during lockdown to just feel semi-normal?) and the bluebells were out in force 😍

Unfortunately the 4 year old was not feeling it, so our adventure did not last long - apparently her legs hurt, she had stones in her shoes, the bumble bees scared her and she was hungry (standard!) 🤦🏻‍♀️

3 years ago yesterday, Chris and I were approved as adopters. 6 weeks later, the two most perfect girls moved in and made Team ESLT complete ❤️

Today we visited for some Easter fun. Even though we’re all still recovering from Disney last weekend (genuinely shattered) we had an absolute blast. We played, we picnicked and we even saw the EASTER BUNNY 💥🐣🐰🥚🥰

And just like that our time at is over. It has truly been a magical 5 days. From parades and fireworks to character dining and personal Princess meet and greets, it has been none stop excitement and amazement. The girls are super sad our time here is over but Mr ESLT and I are sure it won’t be the last time they visit the Main Mouse 😉

The Easter hols have landed and we’ve landed in for a long weekend with the Main Mouse at and in between the torrential rain and the kid’s tantrums (they are both extremely overwhelmed) we are having a great time! Today we saw shows, visited the shops and drank steins! 🇫🇷🙌🏼🍻
