Wow! It's warm! Haagwood looking good! Almost ready for its new guests! Just installing a new bench to sit outside and a bit of gardening! Looking forward to welcoming this week's visitors!

Ludo here!

Just wanted to let you know I've been out checking the local area and I can tell you it's all ready for your stay. I checked all the views and they are still incredible and the trees are amazing (smell lovely!!!!) The sand on the beaches is perfect (for digging)

Sadly we've had a cancellation but you know what means! We have a vacancy! 13th September to 20th..... Fancy a little later summer break? An escape to somewhere perfect for recharging the batteries?

After the flood, the drying out, the restoration. Finally we are back and so happy to be welcoming guests again!

Oh what a nightmare!!!! A disaster for poor Haagwood cottage! Back in February I walked into the cottage living room to find water pouring through the ceiling!!!!

Devastated doesn't come close!

Obviously the damage to the cottage was so upsetting but what was more distressing was the immediate realisation that we were going to have to cancel the holidays of several guests. We are so sorry for this, it was the last thing we wanted and again we apologise for any distress and inconvenience that was caused

We hope that anyone who missed out of a visit to us will consider a new booking in the future again we are so sorry you missed out!

We have been firstly drying out and now making all repairs to restore Haagwood to it's former glory..... Maybe making a few improvements at the same time!

This weekend we finally were able to welcome guests again something for which we are so relieved and happy to see! It's been 6 weeks we would love had never happened but they are done now and we are back!

We were cut off with no power for 4 days after the storm but that's all sorted now! Glad it coincided with a maintenance week at Haagwood!
