Royal Caribbean did not disappoint!
As a solo traveller on this one, I felt safe and confident.
Cabin was fantastic, balcony was huge! (Cabin 6584) I booked a guarantee cabin and was very pleased with what they allocated. From what I could see the ship doesn't actually have any obstructed balcony cabins but a small section in the midship have a yellow glass balcony 🤔
Independence of the Seas was a great size for me and I never had an issue with overcrowding.
Food was amazing, no complaints with anything!
Service was some of the best I have received too!
I had the refreshment package which meant unlimited Starbucks and the refill machines were fab! Loved my cup!
WiFI worked perfectly the whole time too.
I went to a sushi making class, played mini golf and Lazer tag.
I watched Grease and an ice show.
Met some lovely people and found 5 cruising ducks - if you know, you know 😁
I pre purchased lunch at Giovannis and chops before I went because it was cheap and a good way to try speciality dining without paying a fortune for the dinner menu, neither disappointed!!
Johnny Rockets was a set price but you could order whatever you wanted from the menu - Don't do this a couple of hours before dinner though 😅🙈😂
Bermuda was beautiful - I got the local bus to Horseshoe Bay Beach (pink sand) which you can purchase a ticket for on an app so you don't need cash! Perfect if like me you rarely carry cash 😅
Azores was easy to walk around.
Lisbon was very big and hilly so I would recommend a tuk tuk or the tram to see the most of it.
Vigo was also very walkable!
I had the best time and it definitely won't be the last time I sail with Royal 🩷
