C2C DAY 3: HIGHLIGHTS

What a day. You will all be pleased to hear the lads are tucked up in bed and let’s hope they get a good nights rest!

🏆 119 miles completed and 4120 metres climbed so far!

Gary, Emmerson, Alan & Jake are feeling broken. It has been a gruelling day with gale force winds, horrendous rock slides and one flat battery. One thing is for sure Emilia, Leah and I could not be prouder of our men and we cannot wait to squeeze them tomorrow after the final 41 miles to Tynemouth. ❤️

What’s more, as I write this, with the kind donations you have made online and in person the running total raised is an AMAZING £2590 in aid of the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Cancer Centre in Northallerton. Seeing the total rise today has been emotional to say the least and we will be forever grateful to you all.

DAY 1: HIGHLIGHTS

Alan, Emmerson, Jake & Gary have set off on their Coast to Coast off-road challenge.

160 miles miles of remote, challenging mountain biking trails with 5000m of Climbing & Descending!

All in aid of the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillian Centre in Northallerton. This new facility has been of immense support to a really close family member of Alan and Emmerson and if you are able to, any donation would be gratefully received 💙

On Friday 16 May 2025 our Company Director, Alan Sherwood will be embarking on the Coast to Coast offroad Mountain Bike route from Whitehaven to Tynemouth, covering 160 miles over the course of four days to raise money for the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.

It was a late night repair on one of the Hire Bikes this evening that belong to a cycle holiday provider we contract transport and maintenance for.
Huge thank you to our best buddies at RedSky Bikes for opening the shop late to lend us some specialist tools and RedSky Bikes Head Mechanic Stuart for his technical help over the phone! You are all amazing!

Big thanks to our friend Tom for assisting too!

So the bike is back in the road in Beverley and ready to continue on the Way of the Roses Cycle Route tomorrow morning!
