Just a short hop from our cottages here at Callestock, you'll find Mitchell Fruit Garden, offering an abundance of fresh pick your own produce. We can vouch for the strawberries, they are so sweet and delicious. For the perfect afternoon treat, pair them with own home-made scones, Roddas Clotted Cream and a spoonful of Boddingtons Strawberry conserve. Go on treat yourselves.

What a perfect bank holiday weekend! 🌞🚴‍♀️
Even though we were busy with changeovers, we managed to sneak a day off on Sunday to head out with friends for a cycle over to the roselandinn_philleigh. The weather was glorious and lunch was an absolute treat – the biggest bowl of fresh local mussels paired perfectly with some crisp Offshore cider! 😋

A trip across the Fal on the iconic King Harry Ferry topped off the day beautifully.

Great news for all foodies out there! Truro Food Festival is happening from 24th to 28th September and it's always a great day out. Nick and Liz always try to visit, it's a good excuse to catch up with friends for a spot of lunch. We have a couple of cottages available at the end of September, so if you fancy a break combined with a food lovers festival, then give us a call.

A little spruce up at Callestock!

With our lovely new sign in place, Ben and Jess thought it was the perfect time to give the Way Marker pointing to Zelah and Perranporth a makeover too – plus a tidy-up of the hedge while they were at it. 🌿

Here are the before and after photos… what a difference! Doesn’t it look smart? 👏

A huge thank you and well done to Ben and Jess for giving this lovely piece of Cornish heritage some well-deserved care and attention.

The Roseland is a beautiful area to visit whilst staying with us here at Callestock Courtyard Cottages and the King Harry Ferry is just a 15 minute drive from us. Wonderful walks with stunning scenery await you. :D

We don’t usually say much before TB test reading day (too superstitious! 😅), but we’re happy to say it’s good news again this time – all clear!

We’re absolutely thrilled to see Rodda’s receive Great Taste Awards for both their iconic Cornish clotted cream and whole milk – and even prouder to say that our gorgeous Jersey girls played a part in it! 💛

It’s a real honour to be part of the Rodda’s Farming Family, where care and quality are at the heart of everything. To hear judges describe the milk as having “real character” and “wonderful texture in the mouth” is a fantastic tribute to all the hard work and dedication that goes into every drop.

Huge congratulations to the entire Rodda’s team – and thank you we're proud to be a part of this delicious journey! 🌟

We’re thrilled to share that both our Cornish clotted cream and our whole milk have been recognised with Great Taste awards this year! ⭐

From Cornish clotted cream with a “rich, indulgent texture that oozes from the spoon” to milk with “real character” and “wonderful texture in the mouth", it’s a brilliant nod to the care, craft, and quality that go into every drop and dollop we make.
