The Difference When You Book With a Real Travel Professional ✈️

I want to let you know that I will no longer be price matching flights or hotels against online‑only booking platforms.
I completely understand that price is important, and I know those websites can sometimes look a little cheaper at first glance. The difference is what happens before, during and after you book.
When you use an online booking site, you are dealing with a system.

👩🏻‍💻 When you book with me, you are working with a person who:
• Knows you, cares about your preferences and what really matters to you
• Will stay on hold, work late and do the chasing if something goes wrong
• Has access to flight management systems that can help rebook or change carriers in a crisis
• Provides the financial and practical protection you get when you book a protected package holiday through Travel Counsellors

Those websites are great at selling seats and rooms.

My job is to look after your whole journey, from the first idea until you are safely home, and to be there when plans change unexpectedly.

With the current global tensions, I have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep clients safe, informed and travelling where possible.
Focusing on the value of my service rather than matching online prices means I can continue offering that level of support and care to the people who really value it.

This past week has been one of the busiest of my Travel Counsellors career, not only has my 3 year anniversary passed by, the ongoing crisis in the Middle East has impacted many of my clients’ travel plans.

Behind the scenes I have:

✅Supported clients Thailand whose flights were cancelled, arranging extended hotel stays, rebooking their onward journeys back to Manchester.

✅ Re protected a family who could have lost their holiday, moving them from an Emirates service onto an alternative Cathay Pacific flight from Manchester to Hanoi under a re protection policy.

✅ Re protected customers who had their holiday cancelled, moving them from an Emirates service onto an alternative Turkish Airlines flight from Manchester to Phuket under a re protection policy.

✅Helped customers on another holiday in Thailand resolve an issue with their missed ferry crossing to Phi Phi, so they could get there and enjoy the rest of their holiday.

✅ I also have been working behind the scenes on another 4 upcoming bucket list holidays due to depart later this month, doing what I can to have a plan in place - just incase they can no longer fly due to the Middle East crisis.

All of this has been on top of the usual day to day work: managing existing bookings, supporting those about to travel, and handling new enquiries.
