It's Friday & should be a fun day! 😁 So here's one of my much younger, funny travel stories:

My friends had just got engaged in Paris under the Eiffel Tower. I was there but that's a different story...

Anyway, a few weeks later my other friend & I were in Dublin & in the airport for the return flight we went shopping. Thought wouldn't it be nice to pick a special engagement gift for them. So I bought a lucky horseshoe... Only to go to the boarding gate shortly after & be told our flight had departed...
We were so caught up shopping that we didn't hear our names being called 🙈

So... on presenting the happy couple to be with said lucky horseshoe, I did advise them to hang with caution... as it wasn't really all that lucky for me! 🤣🍀

Although, they have now been married 20 years! 🎉
