Hornsea in December is quite magical and Lobster Pot is trimmed up from 1 December too. Whether you want a weekend, mid week, week or even Christmas week....we have it for you ❤️

Paddleboarding on the sea can be so much fun. It's very different from the river. Here's Paul ..... I was on the shore keeping a beady eye out for his safety. If you're in the sea at Hornsea between about 8.30am and 6pm daily (check first) the NCI (national coastwatch institute) have a watch station just in front of the Marine Pub. They keep watch of comings and goings in the sea and shore and report anything untoward to the coastguard. We also have the Life guards on duty during the summer months. Lucky to be somewhere that looks out for everyone.

In a thriving seaside town, there's always something nice to do. Hornsea doesn't close once the summer rush has gone......so come enjoy long walks, seaside air, nice eateries and bars and of course some lovely independent shops. So very dog friendly.

Tomorrows guests are coming for 3 weeks! How lovely ❤️ They started visiting Grosvenor Cottage and then needed an extra bedroom, so moved to Lobster Pot. They booked super early to get the weeks together...... so if you'd like to secure a week next year....it's never too early- most week prices currently held from 2025 too 😉

We keep about 6 weeks per year booked out for planned maintenance and updating things in the house. From new windows to decorating - things that can't be done on a normal change over day....we try to be right on the ball so everything is lovely and perfect for your visits ✨️ ✨️ The rest of the time, we always have visitors staying ❤️
We have taken all our bookings direct- which is marvellous and means we cut out the middle man 😀 making it easier to keep our prices as low as we can. For now, 2026 prices are mainly the same as 2025.
