HELLO 👋…
A flurry of new followers yesterday so time for a quick reintroduction which is coincidentally great timing as I’ve new pics to share of some of the new additions at Crown Cottage Norfolk!
I’m Lois and, in case you didn’t guess, I live in Norfolk, England having fled the big smoke 4 years ago. You’ll often see me here at Crown Cottage - a holiday cottage we run for guests to enjoy- or at our own home renovation, Meadow View, a couple of miles up the road. I share stories of our Norfolk life whether it be home renovation, lifestyle or the experiences you can have at our cottage. All filled with colour and a touch of humour.
We’ve recently completed some updates at our holiday cottage so here’s a quick canter round courtesy of some lovely images from . We have many returning guests here and I like to try to add new things so there’s always something new to discover. So here’s what I’ve got to show you as you scroll through…
1. Me, sadly not new - the same old version
2. The view of Crown Cottage at the rear
3. Our new outside sundowner spot at the rear of the garden facing west …
4. With some new glassware to be enjoyed
5. A new spot to enjoy the wisteria when you visit in May
6-8 and the irises and newly planted alliums
9-10 new outside table on the patio which leads out from the kitchen …
11-12. …which has also had a new injection of colour with pieces collected from our own holidays in Majorca and Scotland and down the road !
13-15. new pieces added to the double bedroom including fun bedding (which we adore and use in the Master upstairs too) and lamp
16-17. and something we added at the end of last year is this gorgeous toy market for our little guests- we pride ourselves on being family friendly but not at all “kiddified”
