🌸 This time next week it'll be Mothers Day Eve 🌸

Why not treat the special people in your life to a weekend at Spring Cottage.

Picture this....

You spend your Saturday evening cosying up and watching a movie in front of the log burner, maybe with some toasted marshmallows.

After a restful nights sleep, you wake to a traditional Potteries breakfast of Oatcakes, and a delivery of fresh flowers while you spend your morning relaxing.

Following a late check out, take a trip to one of our local pubs or restaurants to enjoy a traditional Sunday lunch or an afternoon tea to celebrate Mothering Sunday.

A big thank you to the customers of Tesco in Longton today, for their donations to the Help For Heroes Big Battlefield Bike ride.

Money raised helps to support veterans and their families through injury, mental trauma, disability and isolation.

Tonight we helped to feed the cute little Spring lambs at Shakes on the Rocks. They guzzled their milk and enjoyed a little fuss from us all. 🐑

Followed by a creme egg milkshake 😋 (us not the lambs 😂)

To top it off there was stunning sunset. You can see Mow Cop Castle if you look close enough! 🔭

Five years ago today, we welcomed our first guests to Spring Cottage Holiday Let.

We were excited, apprehensive and nervous about their arrival, however it all ran smoothly and we had a great review from our guests.

Little did we know that non essential travel restrictions would be put in place shortly after this, and that these guests would be our first and last for some time.

Fast forward to today and we're still welcoming lovely guests, getting great reviews and we feel a whole lot less nervous about welcoming people to our beautiful cottage.
