Wetroom

• Circular grab rail with integrated soap dish to shower area
• Bifold shower screen to allow more room
• There is unobstructed floor space of 1700mm x 1800mm, or more

• Hook next to basin for fold up toiletry bags
• Toilet height of 470mm
• Integrated grab rails to basin.
• Basin fixed at a height of 750mm with 650mm clearance

Bedrooms

• The narrowest route to the twin bedroom with the electric bed is 1230mm
• The narrowest route to the two other bedrooms is 1400mm
• There is an unobstructed floor space of 1500 x 1500mm minimum which can be increased
• Bedroom 3 has level access to the wetroom
• Bedroom 3 offers a twin bedroom with one Invacare Ergo Medley electric profiling bed with adjustable height, head and leg positions and optional side guards. Tilt action. Mobility Aids (please check availability before booking)

Another stunning day here 🌞. Lovely to see the boats out on the river. The view is just one of the things our guests love about our accommodation.

If you're not aware of 'Ibiza Bob' Jack Kay, you'll have no idea what this about. Earlier this week Jack Kay went viral because of his haircut and fashion style. Our sheep like to follow fashion, and here is Leo sporting his Ibiza Bob look. 😆 🐑

Happy weekend everyone.

For anyone interested in our lambs/ewes, here is a short video. The lambs are pretty big now and they are all in the field by the chalets. The guests are loving seeing the sheep. 🐑 🐑 . They can be very entertaining as can we, when we need to catch them 😆 🐑

Happy weekend everyone.

We wanted to give you a quick update on the Golvo hoist we purchased last year.

The hoist came about after guest feedback, as the two mobile hoists we had couldn't lift high enough. You can see in the photo, that the wheelchair is moulded. This meant that the chair was higher than a standard wheelchair, making it difficult to lift the user out. We want to make everyone's stay stress free and enjoyable, so off we went to try to find a suitable mobile hoist. We looked at several. The lift height on the technical data, was often quite different to the reality. After trying out several hoist, we found the Golvo 7007 could lift an extra 8 inches (200mm) in height.

We are pleased to say that, not only did the guest return, but the hoist is brilliant for an adult moulded chair.

The hoist is ideal for many situations, but it's always great to know that we managed to source a more suitable hoist.

What a special week we've had. The arrival of my second great niece, Margot Rose, guests getting married in Gretna (thank you for the delicious wedding cake), we've got the field grass cut and it will be baled this evening, and another guest left us some Estuary mugs as a thank you. Not to mention this stunning weather, albeit a little bit too hot to me. Not a bad week at all.
