Waves whispering against powder-soft sand, private pools that seem to pour straight into the Indian Ocean, and starlit dinners where the only agenda is to slow right down.

At Raffles Seychelles on Praslin, barefoot luxury feels effortless: sunrise coffee from your hilltop villa, days spent drifting between turquoise water and spa rituals, and evenings watching the sky turn blush-pink over Anse Takamaka.

This is not just a beach escape. It is a place to reconnect, to breathe, and to savour the kind of moments you will talk about for years. It is definitely on my bucket list!

Peak season in Europe doesn't have to mean crowds. It means knowing where not to go.

A few destinations that deliver the quality of Europe's best without the experience of its most visited:

Madeira: A sub-tropical island off the coast of Morocco that most travellers underestimate. Not to miss: the hiking trails along the levadas and the food scene in Funchal.

The Azores: Nine volcanic islands in the mid-Atlantic with crater lakes, whale watching, thermal springs, and landscapes that feel unlike anywhere else in Europe. Still largely under the radar.

Slovenia: Ljubljana is one of the most pleasant small capitals in Europe, and Lake Bled is the kind of destination that photographs cannot do justice to.

Norway: The fjords in summer deliver some of the most beautiful scenery on the continent, and the quality of light at northern latitudes in June is something clients consistently say they weren't prepared for.

Vienna. Consistently overlooked in favour of Prague and Budapest. The museums, the coffee house culture, the concert season, and the food scene are all at a level that Vienna's reputation doesn't fully convey.

A wonderful day exploring Paxos. We rented e-bikes and ventured over to Lakka and Loggos. We loved Lakka so much, we went back for dinner! Gorgeous coastal views, lovely boutiques, local tavernas and great food- Paxos is the spot!

"Life is short and the world is wide." — Simon Raven

One of the things we love most about travel is having something exciting on the horizon. Sometimes it’s a destination that has lived on your list for years. Sometimes it’s a beach or city waiting to be explored, or simply time set aside with the people who matter most.

The places themselves are memorable, but it’s often the feeling that stays with us.

What destination is inspiring you lately? Let’s talk about your next journey.

Sun-drenched plazas, cobbled lanes, rooftop sunsets and tapas at every turn... Seville is made for a stylish city break.
My lovely team member Ellie has just returned from celebrating a milestone birthday there with her husband and her stories have well and truly put Seville on my own wish list too.
If you would love a few days of culture, sunshine and incredible food (without a long flight), send us a message and let’s start planning your personalised Seville escape.

Booking a trip soon? Save this checklist. These are the details we review on every trip we plan:

Passport validity. Many countries require six months of validity beyond your return date. Check before anything else.

Entry requirements. Visa rules shift frequently and vary significantly by destination. What applied last year may not apply now.

Travel insurance. Not all policies are equal. Coverage for trip interruption, medical evacuation, and pre-existing conditions all matter, and the differences between policies are usually invisible until something goes wrong.

Flight routing. The lowest fare and the best routing are rarely the same thing. Long layovers, tight connections, and overnight arrivals into complex destinations all have consequences for how a trip begins.

Room category. Categories within the same property can vary significantly in view, size, and experience. Getting the right room for the right stay is something that gets overlooked more than it should.

Timing within the destination. Most places have a week or two that is categorically busier than the dates around them. Knowing where those fall changes both availability and price.

A good travel advisor works through all of this before you ever see a final itinerary. Get in touch if you'd like help planning your next trip correctly.

When clients ask for something scenic, calm, and a little different, we often say: Vancouver Island.

Vancouver Island feels like a greatest-hits album of the Pacific Northwest. Rugged coastline in Tofino. Whale watching near Telegraph Cove. Wine tasting in the Cowichan Valley. European charm in Victoria.

The beauty of it? You don’t have to choose between adventure and ease. We can arrange private wildlife excursions by boat, guided forest hikes, or quiet waterfront stays that make you forget about your inbox entirely.

It’s Canada at its most cinematic. And it pairs beautifully with a few nights in Vancouver to round it out.

A few things travel advisors wish more travellers knew:

The best trips rarely come together at the last minute. The rooms everyone wants, the best guides, the restaurants worth planning around, those tend to get reserved well in advance.

A great local guide can completely change how a destination feels. The difference between “seeing a place” and truly understanding it often comes down to the person showing you around.

Another thing we’ve learned after planning a lot of trips: the most memorable days usually aren’t over-scheduled. Some of the best moments happen when there’s time to wander or follow a recommendation you heard earlier that day.

And maybe the biggest one. When you work with a travel advisor, you’re not just booking hotels. You have someone quietly paying attention to the details before you leave and while you’re traveling. Flights change. Weather shifts. Plans evolve. Behind the scenes, we’re making sure the trip keeps moving smoothly so you can stay focused on the experience.

That’s the part most travellers don’t see, but it’s often what makes the biggest difference.
