This time last year our girl Alice was on the lead up to celebrating a big birthday, and what better way to see in a new decade than on holiday, with a cocktail in hand, on the beautiful island of Mauritius. From all inclusive dining with a la carte options, as well as enough water sports to keep anyone busy, coupled with an ocean view to watch the sunset each day, in Alice's words, Beachcomber's Canonnier Resort and Spa was quite literally like paradise.

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹;

We spent our first 2 nights on the island at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve and it's a great reminder as to how incredibly grateful we are to experience such iconic properties. First of all, every Balinese welcome is wholesome and heartfelt but the staff at Mandapa are something else. The level of service, attention to detail, personalisation and more are what make this property.

A hugely spacious Mandapa Corner Suite at 145sqm offers ample living space and a gorgeous bathroom, whilst the master bedroom boasts a walk-in wardrobe. But it’s the bespoke itinerary booklet, welcome amenities and in-suite checkin with your pathis (butlers) that makes the arrival seamless and special. (Watch out for our Suite Tour coming soon)

The dining options are magnificent too; the all-day dining at Sawah Terrace means you can enjoy your breakfast no matter the time of day, reinforcing the reserve’s holistic approach to wellness and balance. Ambar offers classy cocktails and delicious Asian fusion whilst Kubu is a spectacular 10-course taster menu, featuring only locally sourced ingredients from within 100km.

And so our Balinese adventure begins 🇮🇩

Yesterday we took to the skies with Cathay Pacific on their new , sampling their spacious 💺 For a 12.5hr flight to Hong Kong, the extra space and comfort makes a big difference;

We're sure you've all read about the chaos at Heathrow that happened on Friday...

Well we weren't worried and neither were our clients. We've got their backs and that's why they book with us.

Fortunately, we got through Friday & Saturday relatively unscathed - purely luck for when our clients were departing & arriving ✈️ But the knock on effect from delayed or cancelled flights will result in aircraft being in the wrong place, which could easily impact the next 7+ days.

By 9am Friday morning, we'd already liaised with imminently affected guests overseas and have since contacted clients due to travel in the coming weeks to remind them our travel experts are here 24/7, shared our emergency contact document and comforted them, reminding them that we'll keep them up to date with any changes if, as or when they happen.

Never a dull day but an important reminder why we're here 🥊

Air France unveils its new La Première experience, the highest expression of travel 🥂

After launching an exceptional airport journey at Paris Charles de Gaulle last year, Air France is reinventing the travel experience onboard its most exclusive cabin. 4 seats - each nearly 3.5sqm, will be introduced on a selection of their Boeing 777-300ER aircraft beginning Spring of this year 💺

So big each seat spans 5 windows, features a chaise longue that converts to a true 2m long bed, this new La Première provides a unique experience, enhanced by personalised service and a gourmet offering 👩🏻‍🍳

The city that never sleeps has its name for a reason; there's always something to do or see. But there are ways to enjoy your time in without spending all your time dashing from place to place snapping selfies 🤳🏼

In case you didn't know, Ross lived in New York for 4 years so is our expert when it comes to making the most of a city stay. Below are some top tips & recommendations on what to do and how to enjoy your adventure;

𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 - visiting the park is great, but turn it into a stroll with a coffee & croissant. It's great to see locals jogging or going about their morning routine
𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲 - of course, you have to see Times Square. Use the opportunity to get in the queue at TKTS to grab some discounted tickets
𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 - this nature walk up the western blocks of the city is a great way to explore. You can start at Hudson Yards & The Vessel and head south at your own pace. Beautiful with spring in bloom and some super cool apartments along the way
𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 - after you've walked The High Line, head into Chelsea Market and grab a bite. There's lots of cool artisan stalls, boutique stores, galleries, etc. Friedman's for lunch and Sarabeth's are always super popular
𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗕𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 - no, these aren't Presidents, they're parks. You need to take a breather as you explore, so grab a bagel and head to these parks & squares in the city to watch the world go by. There's usually doggo's playing too!
𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄 - if you want to see the cityscape, there's plenty of observation deck options; One World Observatory, Rockefeller, Empire State, EDGE, Summit One... but for something special, take a doors-off helicopter flight over the city
𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 - there's no shortage of shopping opportunities, from big brands to boutiques and thrift stores. Check out these areas along with Tribeca for some cool independent shops
𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 - there are endless places to eat & drink across the city, but head to for brunch one day. You can even explore DUMBO first or catch an ice hockey game at the Barclays Centre

It’s not every day we get a client looking to plan a round-the-world adventure, but luckily our travel experts know exactly how to handle this kind of enquiry 🤓

One of the key factors of this holiday was a 19 day tour of by rail, ocean & coach, taking in everything from Auckland and the Bay of Islands to Rotorua, Wellington, Fox Glacier, Doubtful Sound, Dunedin & more. With already limited availability for January/February 2026, we secured the final 2 seats on a departure then began to build the rest of the itinerary around this epic tour 🇳🇿

Our guests will embark on a 6+ week global journey from London to and on to Auckland to begin their tour, afterwards continuing on to , the red rock desert of , on to Cairns and finally before heading back to the UK. With business class flights on all the long-haul flights between , and , they’ll be travelling in style, comfort & luxury 🥂

On top of that, they have some incredible hotels throughout, starting with Paradox Hotel Vancouver to Shangri-La Sydney and Sails In The Desert, Uluru, but it doesn’t stop there. They’re even spending 6 nights on an eco-resort island resort off the coast of Cairns for some incredible diving experiences on the Great Barrier Reef! 🐠
