Went to check the woodland walk… and it had fully disappeared under a rainforest.

Apparently, if you mix sunshine and rain, your trees go feral.

Cue: me, a quad bike, a chainsaw, and questionable decisions.

Path is coming back. Arms are scratched. Feeling powerful. Slightly sweaty. 🪓💪😅

Three weeks in and the new girls are already earning their keep 🥚👑
First egg laid today by our overachiever-in-chief—just 18 weeks old and clearly thriving.
She’s settled, she’s happy… she’s o***y the moon. 😄🐔💛

📅🐔 Start of the week, and the chickens are already judging my to-do list...

They’ve seen the jobs list — and let’s just say, they’re not impressed with my work-life balance. 😅

It’s officially peak season here — cabins fully booked, guests arriving, lawns to mow, honesty shop to keep stocked, weeds that grow overnight, and hens that still expect celebrity-level service.

Meanwhile, I’m fuelled by coffee, good intentions, and the occasional custard cream 🍪☕.

If you're visiting us this summer, get ready for wildflowers, wagging tails,
Pembrokeshire sunshine (fingers crossed)… and a slightly bedraggled host darting between the polytunnel and the cabins.

Let the summer madness begin 🌞💼

😀 Some great news to bring you this afternoon – the popular coastal footpath between Coppet Hall and Wiseman’s Bridge has re-opened – just in time for the lovely weather!

Thanks to everyone for their patience while the important safety work was carried out over the last few months following a series of landslides.

Thanks also to the Council teams and contractors who have worked tirelessly to open the pathway.

It has been harsh with several big storms, but now, with lighter evenings, we are hopeful for a glorious few months ahead.

That is why we positioned them so you are not overlooked by the other cabin.
