There aren’t many things we love more than travel, discovering great food and wine and meeting new, interesting people who are passionate about what they do. Ticking all these boxes let’s introduce you to Fausta, owner, curator, host and general creator of good vibes at in Sicily. She oversees everything at this wonderful hotel in the beautiful countryside of her family’s farm and has created one of the most welcoming and restful places to stay on the island. We’re in love 🫶🥰

The views from this beautifully kitted out dog friendly holiday cottage in Somerset are mesmerising. Hours can slip by - especially when making use of the hot tub! Perfectly positioned to take in those views as you soak away a day’s exploring this historic and beautiful area. Decoy Farmhouse has been meticulously renovated and offers boutique hotel standard accommodation for six tucked away but easily accessible. June’s a great time to visit so get yourself booked!!

We’re so chuffed to welcome Hares Garth to Further Afield. Another beautiful cottage from in Cumbria it is the ideal cottage for two as a base to explore this incredible region. Cozy, stylish, well-equipped and expertly hosted we think you’ll love this cottage as much as we do! But you need to be quick as everyone else loves it too - just three weeks left until November: w/c Friday 23rd May (or a bank holiday for 3 nights) w/c Friday 2nd and 9th August.

Five bedrooms and an apartment for four offer stunning and welcoming spaces ideal for retreating and making the most of the wellness facilities and cuisine on offer. Your hosts (assisted by two beautiful canine assistants) provide a sense of home for all their guests and love what they do. An ancient walled garden provides a sanctuary and hides a pool. Large rooms span across three floors and the kitchen ideal for summer suppers. Such a beautiful hotel. is in the heart of the historic city of Gothenburg, Sweden’s second city. Intersected by waterways and peppered with open squares and terraces it’s a gentle city, but one that’s full of fascinating ways to spend the day. They’re here! In case you hadn’t noticed the four wonderful hotels from are now part of the collection. Inclusivity, professionalism and beautiful places to stay underpin what Further Afield is all about and this family owned group of truly boutique hotels encapsulates that. Cornwall. Its not just for the school holidays … in fact if you can go outside of peak times you’ll experience a totally different Cornwall. Quieter. More relaxed. Fewer queues and less traffic!! The joy of walking a Cornish path or beach and not seeing another soul is utterly brilliant.
